Popcorn, Candyfloss and Icecream to take over Board Meetings at the Badrutt Palace Hotel

Who can read a child’s mind better than a child itself? The Badrutt Palace Hotel, St Moritz has realized this and in a bold move, introduces the position of a Junior General Manager, aged between 5 to 12 years. The Junior GM will work shoulder to shoulder with Hans Wiedmann and will be responsible for all activities and facilities pertaining to children. He/She will be giving suggestions and making changes to improve the quality of stay for the younger guests.

The Badrutt Palace has been synonymous with service and going that extra mile for their guests. What more proof do we need of this? The new post of the Junior GM that they have created clearly indicates that they truly believe in doing all they can in their capacity to make every guest feel at home.

badrutts-palace-junior-gm-2Come December 2014, the doors of Baldrutt Palace will open for the young GM, who will take over and add a new facet to St Moritz’s stylish and traditional hotel. This will also be a first for Resident Manager Angelo Martinelli, who has celebrated 50 years of service in the hotel and thought he had seen it all.
To welcome the young GM, the hotel has organized a Kids Pyjama Party at the King’s Club on 10th January 2015. The invitees aged under 12 will be expected to adhere to the dress code ( read pyjamas) and have a fun filled evening planned for them.

badrutts-palace-junior-gm-3Applications for this post will be accepted till November 17th 2014 for all girls and boys ad between 5 to 12 who are fluent in German, English or Italian. The candidates need to download the questionnaire from the hotel website, complete the questions with their parents and create a 2 minute video about themselves and their hobbies.
The final candidate will be chosen by a jury of Hotel Experts. The young GM will be paid in kind with a business outfit, travel and room costs, half board for themselves, their parents and 2 siblings along with an additional week of relaxation for their family during summer.
