The World Travel Awards recently awarded Raffles Makkah Palace as the World’s Leading Luxury All-Suite Hotel. At a ceremony held in Katara Cultural Village in Doha, vice president and managing director Arkobi of the Fairmont Raffles Hotels International – Makkah expressed, “It is an outstanding achievement for our hotel Raffles Makkah Palace to be named the World’s Leading Luxury All-Suite Hotel,” and also added, “We are very keen to be the standard-bearer for hotels in the World, and this well-deserved award symbolizes the superiority we provide through our impeccable services.” This is the second award for the hotel in the last eight-month. Travel professionals from around 160 countries cast their votes online. The Raffle Makkah Palace in Makkah boasts spacious suites, round-the-clock butler service for every suite, a business center with a reception hall, a library with over 2000 Islamic books, five private meeting rooms, and secretarial services. The World Travel Awards award, which first started giving out these awards in 1993, is considered one of the most prestigious awards in the global tourism industry.
