Ritz-Carlton is all set to enter its third venture at Kyoto, Japan


As Japan picks up its economy, there is reason for tourism lovers and the opulent of the world to rejoice as the Ritz-Carlton Hotel Co. plans its third venture, this time in the ancient capital of Kyoto, Japan. Touted to be complete by 2014, the project will be a rebuilding of the now closed Hotel Fujita Kyoto under the Ritz-banner.

The Project to begin reconstruction soon will feature fewer than 140 guest rooms, opulent restaurants, and a spa that will combine traditional Japanese and Western luxury hotel styles. The pricing for this property located along the Kamo River near the posh Gion district is touted to be around ¥ 50,000 ($600) per night.
