Secluded villas, ski lodge and a world class spa – One&Only is all set to open its first U.S. resort in Big Sky, Montana

If a getaway is on your mind, One&Only may have something up its sleeves for you! The marquee is all set to launch its first U.S. resort and residential community in Big Sky, Montana. It is conceptualized by Lone Mountain Land Company (“LMLC”) and Kerzner International Holdings Limited (“Kerzner”) and is a one-of-its-kind project, to say the least.

Situated on the northwest side of Montana’s iconic Lone Mountain, One&Only Moonlight Basin features a Jack Nicklaus signature golf course, fine dining, private hiking, mountain biking and Nordic ski trails, an incredible variety of wildlife and much more.

It is designed by renowned architect Olson Kundig and includes 73 guest rooms and suites in the main lodge, 19 secluded villas throughout the resort, a separate ski lodge, and a Chenot Spa. The resort further promises to offer members an unbelievable mountain lifestyle, striking homes, and direct access to Big Sky’s world-class 5,800 skiable acres via gondola.

In addition to the above, One&Only Moonlight Basin will introduce the first community of One&Only Private Homes in the U.S., offering 62 private residences throughout the landscape. They will each feature a contemporary design, complete with glass walls to give way to Big Sky’s spectacular mountain ranges.

It is situated at less than an hour’s drive from Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport and an hour from Yellowstone National Park. Further, Big Sky itself sits within a 3-million-acre national forest, with the 20 million-acre Greater Yellowstone surpassing its neighborhood. Members will therefore be able to enjoy stunning scenery and wildlife along with all modern amenities.

Commenting on it, Philippe Zuber, chief executive of Kerzner International, said, “Each One&Only resort celebrates its own distinctive location, and Big Sky is the perfect site, where guests and residents alike can enjoy the very best of nature year-round through the life and energy of One&Only.”

Defined as “a mountain destination that showcases the natural beauty of Montana’s extensive, dramatic landscapes,” One&Only Moonlight Basin will open doors in 2024.
