Six Senses launches their first residential project to the French Alps

This December, luxury hotel and Spa operator Six Senses will open the Six Senses Residences Courchevel, the company’s first residential project in Europe. Located in the heart of the world-famous ski resort, the Six Senses Residences Courchevel will offer 53 apartments, a Six Senses Spa, a private ski-in-ski-out concierge service as well as the unrivaled Six Senses’ service to its guests. The Six Senses Residences Courchevel is the first fully-serviced residential development in Courchevel 1850 and the brand’s second project in the French Alps.

At the Six Senses Spa Courchevel, guests are welcomed to an open-plan reception and lounge area, before they are ushered into their rooms. The luxury accommodation options include one- to three-bedroom apartments and 10 five-bedroom duplex penthouse suites (100 square meters) with private Spa rooms, a specially configured wine cellars and triple aspect balconies that overlook the slopes. The rooms are contemporary in décor with traditional mountain influences including timber walls and robust beams, stone and clay flooring, give the apartments a warm, comforting atmosphere.

The Spa will offer its state-of-the-art therapies which feature a range of signature massages, restorative therapies, facials and body treatments, offered in its dedicated treatment rooms. It also boats of an indoor swimming pool, saunas, steam room, a relaxation lounge, a gym and a studio for wellness classes, offering everything one may need to soothe those tired muscles after an exhilarating day on the slopes. Beauty treatments like manicure and pedicure and a juice bar will also be available. The Spa is currently open only to residents and outside guests will be welcome from autumn 2016.

Exclusivity is key to Six Senses Residences Courchevel and the hotel concierge will assist with various luxury amenities including private jet access and bespoke gourmet ski guiding. A dedicated ski concierge service is available for guests to ski on and off the piste morning and evening, without having to carry their skis or boots a single step.

Weekly rentals will start from $6150 to $40,000 and will include a range of services such as breakfast, daily cleaning, linen and home products. The rates will be available from the beginning of December to the end of April 2016.
