When you use the words St Regis and Bentley in the same sentence ‘luxurious’ is a big understatement. First it was the St Regis New York followed by the St Regis Istanbul and now its the St Regis Dubai that gets its own Bentley suite, the first of it kind in Asia (Istanbul’s location in the two continents has always been ambiguous). Spread across 195 square meters the newest Bentley suite draws inspiration from the Mulsanne model, the drawing room has a humongous LED chandelier that is inspired by the car’s signature circular headlights. Speaking of Bentley you just have to talk about the bespoke seats in the most exquisite leather, in the case of the suite its the linen leather sofa with two camel hide ottomans with Bentley’s signature diamond quilting. The subtle design touches continue with the carved rug that reminiscences the Muslsanne’s massive matrix grille, but perhaps the best touch is the main wall which graciously slides to reveal the LED TV and five Breitling clocks so sir knows which of his offices across the globe are open for a conference call.
Like with the rest of the suite even the bedroom is designed has elements from the car maker and its marquee, leather walls, monogrammed carpets and mirrors and lights feature the Bentley paint shades. The opulent one bedroom suite features double doors, floor to ceiling windows, walk in wardrobe, dressing area and the list goes on. The Bentley experience continues outside the hotel as during the stay you would have a Bentley Mulsanne at your disposal. A night at the Bentley suite will set you back by 25,000 AED ($ 6800).
