Just recently, St. Regis New York had unveiled a unique 1,700-square-foot Tiffany Suite. And now, the first St Regis Hotel in Florence opens after the former Grand Hotel Florence went through 10 months of restoration. The St. Regis Florence features 81 luxurious guest rooms and 19 suites, including a designer suit by Bottega Veneta. Each room and suite is artistically designed and features individually hand-carved gold leaf plaques, including one of three different color palettes – Medici, Florentine, and Renaissance, which each come with a unique selection of custom-designed furniture, paintings, frescos, and crystal chandeliers. Also, each guest room and suite is named after Italy’s famous personalities.
Aside from the Florentine flavors in each room, they also feature custom hand painted Tuscan and Florentine landscapes as well as historic Italian engravings as well as decorative antiques throughout the rest of the hotel. The Bottega Veneta suite is serene and sophisticated with muted neutrals and furnished with the brand’s furniture collection.
The hotel features Etichetta Pinchiorri, by the acclaimed three Michelin star restaurant Enoteca Pinchiorri in Florence, will offer guests a true epicurean culinary experience with the backdrop of picturesque glassed art ceilings dating back to the 19th century and a hand-blown Murano glass chandelier. Another brilliant feature of the hotel is the IridiumSM Spa Suites offering three luxurious and spacious spa suites.
