St Regis Florence opens up with a Bottega Veneta suite

Just recently, St. Regis New York had unveiled a unique 1,700-square-foot Tiffany Suite. And now, the first St Regis Hotel in Florence opens after the former Grand Hotel Florence went through 10 months of restoration. The St. Regis Florence features 81 luxurious guest rooms and 19 suites, including a designer suite by Bottega Veneta. Each room and suite is artistically designed and feature individually hand carved gold leaf plaques including one of three different color palettes – Medici, Florentine and Renaissance which each come with a unique selection of custom designed furniture, paintings, frescos and crystal chandeliers. Also, each guest room and suite is named after Italy’s famous personalities.

Aside from the Florentine flavors in each room, they also feature custom hand painted Tuscan and Florentine landscapes as well as historic Italian engravings as well as decorative antiques throughout the rest of the hotel. The Bottega Veneta suite is serene and sophisticated with muted neutrals and furnished with the brand’s furniture collection.
