Located just 20 minutes from the international airport, the newly renovated 402-key hotel boasts of the exclusive Taj Club Lounge and 40,000-square-feet banquet and conference space. The Taj Palace has named its ultimate new suite after its founder, the Tata Suite. Set in Santos Rosewood and Zebrawood, the room is furnished with “Hadji Jalili revival carpets beneath estate-quality coffered ceilings adorned with Murano glass chandeliers and masterful art by M. F Husein and Anjolie Ela Menon, even a vintage Rachels piano.”
The master bedroom boasts of a luxurious bed done up with a “custom over-sized tufted leather headboard and a bath that is a private oasis in inlaid marble, with a glass-walled wet room that is home to an infinity soaking tub for two with chromatherapy options and a tropical rain shower“.
And when you pay $15,550 per night for the suite, expect 24-hour “dedicated Tata Suite team” consisting of a butler, a personal chef and a chauffeur driven Jaguar.
