Giving luxury a new level of high, Langham Place, New York recently introduced the grand Roche Bobois suites in partnership with a French design firm, Roche Bobois. The French retailer will join hands with Langham Place in this luxury project to makeover two 1900 sq. ft. suites on the 25th and 26th floor of the hotel. Each of these suites will be re-done in a unique design by the Roche Bobois team.
While the suites will reflect the aplomb of being the French house’s creation, the special inspiration for the décor will be taken from Roche Bobois’s recent collaboration with fashion designer Christian Lacroix. Majestic as it should rightly be, the suites will include two large bedrooms, two baths, a full-service kitchen with floor to ceiling windows that offer a breathtaking view of the city skyline. Roche Bobois will add living room furniture such as a Presence Sofa and an Epoq sofa from the Nouveaux Classique collection, an aqua dining table which can seat 10 people, Courchevel King Size beds, and Mounted TV units by Chicane and Logos in each of the bedrooms. To spark further aesthetic appeal, the suites will display artwork, accent pillows and throws from Maison Christian Lacroix and drapes by famed fashion designer, Paul Smith.
While Roche Bobois has earlier collaborated with the who’s who of the fashion world, this is interestingly its first hospitality project in the U.S. Set to launch in September 2016, with the New York fashion week and the U.N General Assembly round the corner, Langham Place made a smart move with the introduction of these Roche Bobois suites. Early this year, the hotel has also renovated 214 guest rooms in collaboration with Meyer Davis.
