This year marks the 125th death anniversary of the art world’s posthumous hero – Vincent Van Gogh. The shining star of Amsterdam died in 1890 at the humble age of 37. The nation is honouring the late artist by tributes from different arms of the society. Amsterdam’s very own living room, the urban luxury hotel The Conservatorium is not lagging behind. To commemorate the occasion, the hotel is partnering with the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam by offering a special Van Gogh Experience. The package will include some interesting treats that any art lover would give an arm and leg for.
It costs a little lesser than that. A two-night experience will cost $1,170 and will include two nights’ accommodation for two at the hotel, breakfast for two, two entry tickets and two media tour for the Van Gogh Museum and a copy of the Van Gogh Masterpiece book available in a range of languages. If you behave very well, then you will also be given a private tour of the museum, after hours. This is a nice way to market Amsterdam for its rich art heritage and not merely for wild grass or the likes. We would definitely vote this one as a must-see.
