Love your wine and pooches alike? Well, giving you a chance to enjoy the former in the company of the latter is Denver’s Kimpton Hotel Monaco with the Puppies + Prosecco package. Unveiled just in time for National Dog Day on August 26, the offering includes an hour-long private puppy party and booze for the occasion.
To put things into perspective, the luxe rendezvous will feature dogs, sparkling wine, and a charcuterie platter for nibbles. The 30-minute pupper party will have guests cuddling with their favorite pooches while enjoying the best Prosecco and Italian snacks.
The hotel had arranged a similar event in 2019 as well. Commenting on it, Chris Guse, general manager of Hotel Monaco Denver, in a statement to Departures, at the time had said, “At Hotel Monaco, we are always looking for advanced elements of comfort and feelings of home for our guests.”
He had further added, “With that approach, puppies have naturally been incorporated into our evening wine hour program. The joy this activation has generated for everyone involved made it apparent we needed to take the concept to another level but in a more intimate setting.”
Well, talk about having fun – all while contributing to a cause! The Puppy and Prosecco package is available from August 23-26 on booking a Luxury Suite (with prices starting at $550 per night) at least three days in advance. 50% of the deal’s proceeds will go further to Lifeline Puppy Rescue, a Todd Creek, Colorado-based no-kill shelter supporting animals in the Rocky Mountain region.
