The Jade Mountain resort in St Lucia will get an intriguing sister property: Jade Sea

Just last month Jade Mountain made headlines after it was voted the best resort in St. Lucia by the readers of Travel + Leisure, and now it has been revealed that a sister property to Jade Mountain is in the works. The new property will be launched in 2020 and is named Jade Sea. This property will be located on a ridge near the famed Jade Mountain and Anse Chastanet and will offer guests more direct views of the Pitons – the famous volcanic spires of St. Lucia.

The new Jade Sea development includes 24 Sanctuaries, but the owner Nick Troubetzkoy hopes to expand the property to 48. Sea, valley, and mountain views are part of the package at the resort which also offers more than 8,000 feet of prime Caribbean waterfront. According to the website, “The location of the property is unsurpassed, a private estate of 600 lush tropical acres bordering two soft-sand Caribbean beaches with pristine coral reefs just offshore.”

Jade Sea’s sanctuaries will be fully open to the south, inviting the Caribbean breezes and offering guests a view of the Pitons. The resort aims to offer an indoor/outdoor experience as its sanctuaries will incorporate indoor and outdoor gardens, waterfalls, and natural stone clad walls covered in a fern jungle. Each sanctuary also boasts an infinity edge pool designed for the utmost in relaxation with stepping stones, shallow water seating areas, a floating lounge, and Jacuzzi spa.

This is an ambitious property, but with Jade Mountain already being one of the most sought after resorts in St Lucia, there’s no denying that this sister property seems all set to surpass that.
