Paris has been having a busy month. While it pulls back up strongly and firmly after another shot at the knee, we cannot but awe at their spirit and power to resurrect. Also making headlines in Paris are interesting hotels and ideas to give the City of Light all the more reason to love it for its quirkiness.
The Peninsula Paris has been enticing us since its opening late last year. Marinated in rich history, the property is one of the most iconic in the Peninsula group of hotels. And now the hotel has announced the launch of the Peninsula Academy. Launched in 1997 by the hotel company the academy enriches the travel experience of its guests through art, history, culture, gastronomy or style. The collection at The Peninsula Paris includes 8 programmes, renewed every season, and giving guests the chance ‘to explore Paris with chic and elegance like never before’.
You can understand the life and lessons of the legendary Napoleonic Dynasty, learn the tricks and trades of the Paris fashion industry, explore art and museums, indulge and engage in the art of French gourmet, revel in the sounds of music at the opera, enjoy a wine-tasting trip to the Champagne region, have some ‘fun with chocolate’, as well as relish in the city’s historic paths and treasures on foot, or in a 1934 Vintage Rolls-Royce Phantom.
Here are a few examples of what you can expect:
The Dream Team: a football fan’s fantasy: This is a half-day programme and subject to availability based on match schedule. Price start at €20,150 for one adult and one child.
