The Ritz-Carlton Hong Kong sweeps double Michelin

The much coveted Michelin has once again gone a-knocking twice at Hong Kong’s splendid Ritz-Carlton. The Michelin Guide Hong Kong & Macau 2016 has awarded the Chinese restaurant Tin Lung Heen two Michelin stars and the hotel’s Italian restaurant Tosca with one Michelin stars. This has further reinstated the level of luxury dining deliverance that the outlets have been assuring time and again. While this is the fourth consecutive year for the Chinaman, this is the third one for the Italian.

While Chef Paul Lau leads the team at Tin Lung Heen and Chef Pino Lavarra is the captain of the ship at Tosca. The hotel, well-known for its sophisticated high teas, is definitely rolling in good times off late. If you happen to be in the neighbourhood and crave for some lip-smacking char siu (or barbecue pork) roasted to perfection, then a two-star Michelin venue wouldn’t disappoint.
