After much-anticipation Starwood Hotels & Resorts has unveiled The St. Regis Dubai, within Al Habtoor City on Sheikh Zayed Road. This becomes the first property of the prestigious luxury brand to grace the emirate.
And what is in store, you ask? Well … a Bentley Suite to start with – the first in the Middle East; the first Iridium Spa in Dubai; eight exceptional culinary venues, a fleet of Bentleys to cruise around town in; and an array of everything bespoke of a grand luxurious hotel. – Paying homage to the brand’s original hotel The St. Regis New York which was opened in 1904 featuring French beaux-arts architecture and neo-classical interiors
– A chandelier comprising 1,200 pieces of hand-cut crystals, illuminating the majestic grand staircase
– A vintage Bentley-inspired mural in the St. Regis Bar
– 234 guestrooms, including 52 suites
– A three-bedroom, two-story Royal Suite with its own rooftop plunge pool, vast living room, a dining room, study, lounge area and a majlis

The cherry on top is the introductory offer of Dhs 1,904++ ($ 518++) per room per night. The significance of the rate is the year 1904 when the first The St. Regis Hotel opened in New York City. Also, you may not be able to enjoy the Bentley Suite yet, as it is planned to open only in 2016.
