The Ritz Carlton Hotel, Hong Kong reopens soon as the tallest hotel

The Ritz Carlton is back in Hong Kong, and with a bang! After shutting its doors to the public in 2008, the hotel is revamped and set to make a grand comeback as the world’s tallest hotel. The Ritz Carlton Hotel, Hong Kong, will be as tall as 1,608 feet high and will give Victoria Harbor and Hong Kong Island panoramic views. The hotel will be found between floors 102 to 118 of the International Commerce Centre (ICC) in Kowloon.

The interiors for the 312 rooms have been done up by developers Sun Hung Kai Properties along with New York architects KPF. The hotel will also feature 12-room ESPA spa, a 930 square meter ballroom, and a high rise swimming pool on the 118th floor that will have a ceiling made out of LCD screens to stream videos.
