This hotel in Bali allows you to play with rescued puppies on your stay

While some may indulge in the tried and tested retail therapies and spa sessions for rejuvenation, the only therapy we truly believe in is – Puppies! For what could beat playing with tiny little furballs while they lick your nose to glory. Sharing the same ethos and enabling its guests to indulge in some well-solicited relaxation is The Puri Garden Hotel & Hostel in Bali that is now offering you a play-time with rescued in-house pups for free!

Yes, that’s right! Touted as ‘a safe and great place to meet like-minded travelers from all over the world, who are all looking to take in the beautiful peaceful culture of Bali’, the Puri Garden Hotel holds puppy therapy in high regards. In recognizing how spending time with animals can do wonders for your sense of well-being, the Puri Garden staff offers ‘puppy interactions sessions’ by its pool, twice every week. These assemblies with wagging tails are held between 1.30 and 3.30pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays and are already a hit amongst visitors.

Commenting on the novel initiative, Hostel owner Daniel Silva in a statement said, “My guests are the ones making the puppies feel more at peace as many of them are very traumatized. The puppy therapy helps them to re-socialize and trust gain in humans as herein Bali lots of locals treat them very badly. But it’s also a great opportunity for our guests to have a great time cuddling these little ones. Plus, this activity helps to prepare the puppies for adoption.” If playing with tiny fur-tots is your idea of a holiday, head over to the Puri Garden Hotel and Hostel in Ubud soon!
