I don’t think we need to educate you on the global emperor of real estate, Donald Trump. His name is synonymous with extravagant resorts and luxurious real estates. Recently he is in the news again for his partnership with Cap Cana SA to create a luxury resort on the eastern tip of the Dominican Republic. Explored by Columbus on his first voyage in 1492, the Dominican Republic is blessed with extraordinary natural beauty. The $2 billion projects, named Trump at Cap Cana, will include a condominium hotel, golf course, golf villas, beach club, and luxury homes.
A gated community of 68 luxury homes called Trump Farallon Estates at Cap Cana will be the first portion of the project to be developed. The homes, which will each sit on at least 1.5 acres, will be located on a bluff 60 feet above sea level. The resort’s boutique-style hotel will feature more than 150 condominium units, as well as amenities including a spa and fitness center. The massive master-planned tourism and real estate project, which is next to Punta Cana International Airport, will cover more than 30,000 acres and include more than 5,000 residential units and at least four luxury hotels. It also will include three Jack Nicklaus golf courses and a marina. Anticipating buyers from all over the world, Trump is mostly expecting a more keen crowd from the United States.
