If you’re bored of the same old violins and violets in the name of a high-tea experience, how about one where you get to rub shoulders with an actual princess? Sofitel Rome Villa Borghese hotel in Rome, Italy is now calling guests to enjoy a cup of tea with none other than the lady of the house, Principessa Boncompagni-Ludovisi herself. Yes, that’s right!


Part of the luxe property’s recently launched Roman Culture Experience for Families, the premium offering includes a range of activities such as excursions around the city, gelato making sessions, watercolor painting class, and a traditional tea party with the princess. Guests will be hosted by Principessa Boncompagni-Ludovisi for the latter, wherein they will get to know all about the history of the villa and the royal family over a cup of tea.

The five-night Roman Culture Experience starts at $3,055 for accommodations in two rooms and $4,582 in a suite, with an added charge for activities outside the package. Well, High-tea just got regal!
