In a sweep of collabs, here’s a new one to look forward to! French fashion house Dior recently announced an association with London’s beloved Departmental store – Harrods, wherein it will showcase some of its finest jewelry at the Harrod’s boutique. The tie-up will involve a new and permanent Dior corner to be set-up within the store, with some of the finest jewelry on display.
The focal pieces at the boutique will include a swiss-made timepiece, an exclusive gold-adorned breastplate and few other selections from the ‘Tete de Mort’ collection. As part of the Dior Grand Bal collection, the new Dior timepiece- ‘Dior Grand Bal Plume Blanche’ bears beauty in pure white and comes with centrally adorned feathers and decorations in yellow gold threads and scattered diamonds. Another Harrods exclusive, the ‘Rose Des Vents’ breastplate as it is called, brings us a stunning multi-chain yellow gold, diamond and mother of pearl necklace decorated with Dior’s signature lucky stars.
In addition to the exclusive jewelry pieces, the boutique will also showcase the new ‘Tete de Mort’ collection, designed by Dior maverick – Victoire de Castellane and wholly inspired by Christian Dior’s love of life. Each pastel-hued piece in the collection pays tribute to the artistic director’s debut collection La Fiancée du Vampire, introduced in 2001, and represents a varied set of emotions. The exclusive Dior shop will open at Harrods in September this year.
