Gemstone experts, Gemfields debuted their one-of-a-kind limited-edition gemstone collection at the official opening of Bergdorf Goodman’s new jewelry salon. The collection, created by a group of Bergdorf Goodman designers, features Gemfields’ new cache of rare Mozambican rubies and Zambian emeralds.
A host of celebrities flaunted the new collection at the event including “Mad Men” actress Christina Hendricks, who wore a Jamie Wolf earrings set with Gemfields Mozambican rubies. Also in attendance were Solange Knowles, wearing earrings by Stephen Webster, Ashley Olsen in Gemfields Mozambican ruby earrings, Molly Ringwald in earrings by Kimberly McDonalg and DJ Alexandra Richards who showed off her ruby ring by Stephen Webster
The Gemfields and Bergdorf Goodman collection features over 50 pieces of jewelry sets with rubies and emeralds, created by various designers who had unprecedented access to its gemstones. Participating designers include David Webb, Federica Rettore, G, Ippolita, Jamie Wolf, Kimberly McDonald, Lauren K, Loree Rodkin, Nikos Koulis, Paolo Costagli, Paul Morelli, Pomellato, Stephen Webster, Sydney Evan, Sylva & Cie, Verdura, Yossi Harari and Yeprem.
This will be the first time consumers will get to shop a range of unique jewelry featuring Gemfields colored gemstones in one retail location. At Bergdorf Goodman’s new Jewelry Salon, customers have access to a Viewing Room designed to further enhance their shopping experience. The new salon is part of Bergdorf Goodman’s massive renovation program since the late 1990’s.
