Think Saks Fifth Avenue and you can instantly picture yourself buying exquisite handbags and shoes amongst other things. However, the luxury retailer is now set to exclusively cater to the jewel-crazy lady (or man) within you with the introduction of “The Vault” – its sole outlet for top-end jewelry. While, the new store comes minus any slings and stilettoes on offer, it promises to spoil you silly with a range of jewelry you cannot possibly say no to.
Spread over an area of 61,500-square feet, The Vault features the sparkling work of 23 artists such as Chopard, Vhernier, Nikos Koulis a.k.a Messika, De Grisogono and Anita Ko, to name a few. While each jeweler’s individual area boasts of a signature décor, the entire store comes covered in classic bronze and gold undertones that are further finished with antique mirrored pillars, polished bronze panels, and a dazzling pair of crystal chandeliers. The store also offers select features such as dedicated jewelry viewing rooms along with repair, cleaning and complimentary delivery of purchases.
The high end jewelry boutique will also offer Hands-on custom consultations and limited-edition designs ( currently including an encrusted Aurélie Bidermann cuff for $199,870 and a collar necklace by Vhernier’s Blue Velvet titanium for $ 175, 600) . While the brand aims at opening more of such outlets in the future, ‘The Vault” currently rules as the “majestic home of the world’s most exclusive jewelry” in New York’s Greenwich Ave!
