Swarovski adds that extra shine to Bergdorf Goodman display windows this holiday season

New York’s evergreen high-end retailer Bergdof Goodman and Swarovski have tied up for the festivities to bring you some sparkle this holiday season. If you happen to walk by the store well-appointed on Fifth Avenue, you’ll know what I mean. Display windows of the store have been designed in an exciting partnership with precision-cut crystal maker Swarovski.

Commemorating Swarovski’s 120th anniversary, the “Brilliant” display – as they call it – entail clothing set against a bejewelled backdrop. One element, titled “The Crown Jewels,” offers crystal-embedded suits of armour and life-size lions within a massive red-velvet–lined jewel box. In “The Treasure Chest,” a monumental sculpture of Neptune enrobed in Swarovski pearls presides over a pelagic fantasy so alluring that no mermaid—even Disney’s Ariel—would ever consider abandoning the deep.

Given how Swarovski’s tree topper has found its place on the Rockefeller Christmas tree downtown, this additional partnership with Bergdorf Goodman enables the brand to associate itself as a go-to for the holidays.
