What can be more precious than a diamond in the world? A humongous pearl, of course! A 5 foot high and six-ton heavy pearl was recently unearthed in Mongolia, which has laid claims to be the largest globally. Formed out of fluorite mineral, the green pearl tends to glow in the dark. Being a pearl crazy nation, the huge pretty rock has managed to capture the Chinese gem collectors’ attention. Priced at £88 million ($137.5 million), the pearl is touted to be the most expensive, leaving behind the pink diamond that went under the hammer.
