Van Cleef & Arpels celebrates 50th anniversary with new editions to the Alhambra collection

The four-leaf clover has not been just an age-old lucky charm but also a royalty staple in jewelry, thanks to Van Cleef & Arpels exotic Alhambra collection. And guess what folks, the luxury marquee is all set to introduce new pieces to the Alhambra, each crafted to take your breath away and specially unveiled in celebration of the brand’s 50th anniversary.

After immemorably pleasing the likes of Princess Grace of Monaco and many noted personalities from Hollywood, the Alhambara now comes with new editions to its range of long necklaces with delicate clover-shaped details. The new pieces include the Vintage Alhambra long necklace, with 20 alternating motifs of four-leaf clovers crafted in grey mother-of-pearl and diamond-studded pink gold. Alongside comes a matching pair of Magic Alhambra earrings and a five-motif bracelet. Next, the ensemble graces us with a unique 20-motif Vintage Alhambra necklace and five-motif bracelet paired with luxurious 18k metal and deep blue lapis lazuli. Those with a subtler taste can opt for a yellow gold Vintage Alhambra necklace and bracelet that comes adorned with transparent rock crystals (our personal favorite this one!).

Van Cleef & Arpels latest collection showcases skills of talented lapidaries, jewelers, stone-setters and polishers, along with an outstanding quality of the materials used in its creation. And as rightly stated by Nicholas Bos, CEO and Design Director of Van Cleef & Arpels, “It’s not necessarily about celebrating an anniversary, but it’s still quite symbolic: 50 years of continuous existence of a collection.”
