Danish high-end audio video products maker Bang & Olufsen is all set to enter India, with a new store, and many more lined up, throughout 2015. The company has appointed BeoWorld as its exclusive partner and master dealer in India. The first store, in New Delhi, will be opened in January 2015. The company expects to open standalone stores in Mumbai, Gurgaon and Bangalore in the first phase.
Bang & Olufsen manufactures a highly distinctive and exclusive range of televisions, music systems, loudspeakers, telephones, and multimedia products that combine technological excellence with emotional appeal. The 3,000 sq.ft retail store will include a wide range of products like headsets, on-the-go music players, televisions and Bluetooth devices. Rather than opening new branded stores or stores-in-stores, Bang & Olufsen has worked more closely with its third party retailers, providing training, retail merchandising and marketing initiatives. However, now you can check all the luxury products, by the Danish retailer under one roof.
B&O Play products are priced between Rs 10,000 and Rs 2.5 lakh, and the more expensive core items like speakers come with a price tag starting from Rs 3.5 lakh. Then there are TVs priced up to Rs 50 lakh.
