BMW unveils petrol variant of its Sports Coupé at Rs. 94.15 lacs

Seeing the German Automaker’s focus on luxury mated with performance through the recent launches of M3, M4 and M5, BMW India at the Auto Expo 2018 has ticked the coupé box on its stable’s list, with the launch of the all-new X6 xDrive35i M Sport priced at Rs. 94.15 lacs (ex-showroom, India). The Sports Activity Coupé (SAC) coming through the Completely Built-Up (CBU) route is available at all BMW dealerships pan-India.

Engine
The X6 xDrive35i M Sport in the Indian market houses a 3-litre, inline 6-cylinder petrol engine mated to an eight-speed Sport Steptronic automatic transmission that puts out 306 hp and 400 Nm of maximum torque. The German Automaker believes, belonging to the BMW EfficientDynamics family, this powerful engine projects the coupé from naught to 100 kmph in just 6.4 seconds.

Design and Features
On the outside, the chunky air dam, air inlets and air-sills on either side present the SAC’s aerodynamic stance while the hefty 20-inch wheels ooze out its performance aura. The Adaptive LED Headlights, adaptive M suspension and automatic operation of tailgate add to the driver’s convenience quotient.

Inside the Cabin, the car boasts the M Sport package including the electronically adjustable sports seats in leather upholstery that have a memory function. Also, the M leather steering wheel features convenient multifunction buttons and integrated gearshift paddles. Another special feature of the M Sport package adding to the character element of the SAC is the Doorsill finishers with M logo.

Being priced 30 lacs lesser than the brand’s diesel variant – xDrive40d, the petrol variant would see an overall surge in sales of the X6 Coupé in the country.
