Burberry goes back to school with a high-end Rucksack

The 90’s era was all about the rucksacks! However, Burberry is bringing it back the rucksack with a classy look with its new resurrected the nylon backpack.

But this being Burberry, the bag is obviously elevated: trimmed with leather, fused with chain-leather straps, and featuring the all-important Burberry logo on the front. Inspired by the fabric of the Burberry trench coat, the backpack is made from durable nylon woven in a compact gabardine construction. The easy, soft structure is influenced by military archive styles from the early 20th century and is reworked with multi-zip pockets for added functionality.

A hit on the runway, these rucksacks were paired with an expansive variety of looks, from more casual tanks and trousers to pretty lace cocktail dresses and full-on gowns. The bag itself is a standard utilitarian backpack — meaning you can actually fit your things in there — but what makes this an especially fashion-y offering is the hardware on the straps. With golden grommets and a connecting chain, the shoulder straps look like jewelry. Basically, this bag works with all outfits, for nearly any life event.

Despite the upgrade, the bag does have one major similarity with your old L.L. Bean model: this backpack can be monogrammed. Starting from Rs. 73,000 for a small rucksack, the cool bag of the 90’s is available in Ink Blue, Burgundy, Canvas Green, and Black.
