Powai is all set to get a new luxury hotel with a holistic spa by this year end

Chedi a brand of General Hotel Management (GHM) is coming to India this year. Known for its exclusive resorts, the brands operates four resorts, including the famed Chedi Andermatt in Switzerland, Chedi Muscat in Oman and one property in Vietman and Indonesia respectively. GHM has tied up with city based real estate developer Rajesh Lifespaces for a 316 room property which will include five restaurants and a holistic spa. Rajesh Patel the Managing Director of Rajesh Lifespaces said – “Our collaboration with GHM is a union of resources that will maximise the potential for this hotel. The GHM team is not only providing hotel management expertise. Their concept for The Chedi Mumbai is one that will metamorphosise the current landscape and create a new buzz for lifestyle and quality dining in general.”. Speaking about its peers the President of GHM, Hans R. Jenni said “The food and beverage offerings will set The Chedi Mumbai apart from the rest of the competition as it is the demand for quality gastronomy will drive locals, expatriates and travellers to this new culinary utopia.”

Situated close to Powai the hotel may miss out on the most iconic view of the locality, the gorgeous Powai lake. The soft opening of the Chedi Mumbai is scheduled for December of this year.
