Johnnie Walker is celebrating Happiness, Wealth, and Longevity this year. Every year, the liquor house releases “Zodiac” limited edition bottles, depicting the animals of the Chinese zodiac, were made using European gold leaf techniques. After releasing the dragon, snake, and horse bottles last year, Johnnie Walker will launch the sheep and monkey bottles.
Johnnie Walker Houses have launched the Eastern Legends Collection, comprised of three limited-edition series: “Zodiac,” “Happiness, Wealth, and Longevity,” and the “Five Gods of Wealth.” Using a unique European engraving technique, the three immortals of Fortune, Wealth, and Longevity were emblazoned on a series of collectible whiskey bottles. Created using 18K gold engraving techniques and Chinese-style patterns, the five gods of wealth are said to guard the five directions (north, south, east, west, and center). With the aim of creating a mellow, smooth “19th century” taste, master blender Jim Beveridge blended the whiskey for Eastern gods.
Eastern Legends Collection by Johnnie Walker is a rare collector’s series, made by using a unique European engraving technique, the three immortals of Fortune, Wealth, and Longevity.
