Finally, The Taj Mahal Palace, Mumbai’s coveted Wine & Malt Bar opens up its doors to non-residents.

Wine connoisseurs be thrilled! As a novel-fangled concept, the opulent The Taj Mahal Palace, Mumbai’s Wine and Malt Bar at the Palace Lounge is now open to all guests. Considering only residents had access to their impressive portfolio of hand-picked wines and whiskeys from across the world, we’re rather excited that it will now be available to you and me.

The fancy venue ranks high on my list as the perfect pre-dinner drink venue or an after-dinner night cap. Relish a fine glass of classified Bordeaux while cherishing views of the stunning Apollo Bunder as well-dressed butlers stand-by to serve you discreetly from an exhaustive selection of wines, malts along with small platters of hors d’oeuvres.

Interestingly so, utilization of the latest wine preservation equipment has enabled Taj to offer single estate/rare wines by the glass creating a selection the city of Mumbai has never seen before. Think grand cru burgundies to classified Bordeaux to Cabernets from Rutherford.

With soothing music, stately architecture, and an enviable selection of wines and malts, there can be no better place for guests to experience the true Palace life.”
