Three special whiskies from The Glenlivet will be sampled via exclusive tasting events held around the world, and following a global vote will determine the selection of the final expression, which will then be bottled and launched worldwide in March 2014, with only 2000 bottles available globally. Mumbai recently hosted a tasting event for Chivas Brothers’ whisky brand, The Glenlivet Guardians’ Chapter. Attendees sampled three exceptional single malts (Classic, Revival and Exotic) hand-crafted by Glenlivet’s master distiller Alan Winchester. After the Indian votes of The Glenlivet Guardians’ Chapter are counted, it will be combined with the votes of their counterparts across nineteen different Glenlivet markets. The global vote will determine the selection of the final expression, of which only 2,000 bottles will be available globally.
The Glenlivet, to create a piece of history by inviting them to select its next limited edition release, The Glenlivet Guardians’ Chapter. The Guardians’ Chapter will be available in global markets from March 2014, at an RRP of US$85 (Rs.5,300 approx).
