India’s first ever 24 hour sale impressed Mumbai’s shopoholics!

Three years ago, chic brand Vero Moda announced a flat 60% off sale just for a day, and thousands poured in to try their luck. After good three experiences, this year, the brand saw they never thought would be possible.

The brand’s Linking Road outlet, that houses Jack & Jones, Vero Moda and Only, saw more than 5000 people queuing up at midnight on Friday, May 30. waiting for them to open. This year, ‘Super Saturday’, the annual 60 per cent event had people come just for the live DJ set, which transformed this from a shopping trip into a late-night party. This time, many lucky winners jumped the queue by downloading a coupon that fast tracked selected shoppers into the store. Users could log on to JACK & JONES, VERO and ONLY fan page on Facebook and download a virtual coupon, which enabled them to “Jump the Queue”. Also, shoppers could get a Golden Ticket for an amount of just INR 1000, redeemable over shopping worth INR 10,000; which permitted two shoppers to jump the queue. These add-ons upped the ante of the entire shopping experience.
