Manish Malhotra’s Luxe Collection 2014

Ace Bollywood designer started the New Year with the first Luxe Collection 2014. Manish Malhotra is pure Indian fashion brand. The brand start his work since at 2006 in Mumbai, Mahrashtra India. Through this time the brand provide large amount of collections like as formal, casual, wedding and bridal dresses.

This is the very first collection for the year 2014, which is quite young and modish. The year begins with a lot of sheer and lace; the translucent look with floral thread embroideries and modern-day silhouettes that flow into long soft skirts and floor length anarkalis. Well-tailored lines are enhanced with sensuous summer lace and elaborate thread work paired with signature flowy georgette flared pants. The colour palette ranges from shades of soft pastels to conceptual embroideries on deeper hues of browns, blues, greens and burgundy to classic neutrals and blush tone of pinks.

The saris are romanticized into flared skirts with the trailing pallus adding softness along with drama. A blend of summery tunics, lehenga skirts, and long jackets in the collection make an absolute assortment of elegance to the diffusion line as eveningwear. The luxe line has interesting elements with minute detailing, which adds a new dimension to the menswear. The concept of a double-breasted bandhgala is very unlikely and is custom made for men who want to channel traditional values but with a modern perspective… someone who enjoys the classics but is open to having some fun with it.
