Mumbai’s Le 15 Patisserie, the French confectionery store that brought the Macaroon trend in India has collaborated with the French Fashion house Nina Ricci to create delectable macarons inspired by the brand’s new fragrance.
Nina Ricci is launching it’s new fragrance in India called La Tentation de Nina’ (‘Nina’s temptation’), at Parcos and selected stores.Dubbed “La Tentation de Nina” (Nina’s Temptation), the fragrance carries the signature Nina form of a pink apple, only this time opaque with a gold stopper edged with leaves. Pooja Dhingra, the famed chef behind Le 15 Patisserie has created a matching macaron, also in bright pink topped with gold leaf.
The original ‘La Tentation de Nina’ macarons were created by Parisian patisserie Ladurée’s chef Lemains Vincent with perfumer Olivier Cresp, who developed the macaron-like perfume. Sumptuous macaroons are flavoured with lemon and rose, filled with raspberry jam, decorated in vibrant pink with gold leaf and presented in a special collector’s box. The collection also includes an opulent candle adorned with the Ladurée motif
An altogether sweet affair, you can get your hands on these delicious treats from June 6-16. All you have to do is visit the Le 15’s Palladium outlet will get you free samples of the new fragrance, and buying a bottle of it at the Parcos store will get you a complimentary box of the pink and gold Nina Ricci macarons.
