Porsche Approved pre-owned program launched in India with 24-hour roadside service, rigorous 111-point inspection, and a 12-month warranty

Porsche India has launched its Porsche Approved program in the country that offers a comprehensive warranty on pre-owned cars for a minimum of 12 months, making it the first sportscar brand to do so in India. The program includes access to the Porsche Assistance 24-hour roadside service after passing a rigorous 111-point inspection. In addition to that, the famed German carmaker will also provide a warranty on all its used cars even if the one on the new car was previously expired, which will cover all the essentials beyond the regular new car contract.

Manolito Vujicic, Brand Director, Porsche India said, “This is an important step for Porsche India to extend our services into the pre-owned car segment, as it shows our commitment to customer satisfaction long after the car has been sold and even to customers who have never owned a new Porsche. Our goal is for every Porsche to maintain its high quality regardless of age as a token of our gratitude to our customers for their many years of loyalty and support.” The 12-month warranty offered by Porsche India on its pre-owned cars under the Porsche Approved program includes repairs to all vehicle components including labour charges, except consumables and wear and tear parts such as wiper blades, tyres, fluids and brake pads.

Cars that are either up to six years old or have less than 2 lakh km on the odometer are included in the program. Furthermore, only those Porsches that have been fitted with OEM spare parts and have been worked upon by qualified Porsche technicians get the seal of approval. The sportscar manufacturer currently has 365 cars in its inventory for the Porsche Approved program, which can be looked up online via the Porsche finder. Porsche India has already delivered the first car under its pre-owned car program, which is a previous-generation 911 GT3.
