Review: A superstar dining experience at Hard Rock Café Mumbai

Hard Rock CafeMumbai recently kick-started the renowned World Burger Tour 2018 which brought together some delish burger offerings. I headed off to try the much-talked about burgers apart from the scrumptious American classics that it offers. After all, the burgers at this Rock ’n’ roll-themed chain are all the rage!

The high-energy vibe of the place is reflected not just in the music but also the interiors. Two dramatic double height walls, clad in a sumptuous streaked purple velvet sport backlit niches of varying sizes house the precious memorabilia that Hard Rock is famous for. The dining zone is subtly demarcated from the bar area by larger-than-life illuminated canvas graphics of rock-stars that move vertically, separating or integrating the spaces.

From the burger selections, I loved the Tango Salsa Burger which won over my taste-buds with its kick of smokey spiced grilled chicken supreme, laced with honey mustard sauce. It was layered with cheddar cheese and went perfectly with green apple, quinoa and rocket slaw. The New Delhi Burger and Satay Burger- Singapore were other lip-smacking options.

From the regular menu, one of my favourites remains the Rockin’ Wings. I loved how the Jumbo wings was perfectly marinated with the signature smoked dry rub, slow-roasted and served with Blue Cheese and carrot. The velvety Mashed Potatoes were also spot-on and I can’t recommend it enough. However, what stole the show that night was the Twisted Mac. The Twisted Cavatappi pasta tossed in lightly-spiced mixed cheese sauce with grilled red-peppers with Parmesan-parsley breadcrumbs had me experience gastronomic nirvana with every morsel.

For dessert, Hot Fudge Brownie Sundae was a stellar recommendation. The mountain of vanilla ice-cream and hot fudge on a fresh brownie topped with walnuts, chocolate sprinkles, fresh whipped cream and cherry was sinful, satisfying and surreal! Needless to say that my dining experience here was about attentive and knowledgeable staff, vibrant interiors, rave music and food which is a feast fit for a rockstar!
