Review: Inside Juss by Sindhful’s 2nd outlet at Flea Bazaar Café

It is safe to say that spicy and rich with lashings of ‘ghee’ and lots of variety, Sindhi food is stepping out of home into commercial spaces. We put to test- the 2nd outlet of Juss by Sindhful, founded by mother-son duo- Kanchan and Sannat Ahuja. The intense, lip-smacking flavors of the undiscovered cuisine convinced us that the gorgeous cuisine if well-prepared can transcend to a meal fit for the king.

Mirchi bhajiya chaat

Located inside Flea Bazar Café, the Sindhi Cuisine Diner dishes out exceptional

Vegetarian and Vegan Sindhi cuisine selections. We loved the Sindhi Pani Puri and Mirchi Bhajia Chaat-both flavored with such incredible finesse that you could easily lose the count of how many you ended up gorging on. As for the naasto, the Tuk Platter of Aloo and Arbi Tuk which is enriched with a pounded mélange of spices are super-addictive to say the least.

Bheeyan Ji tikki- the crispy lotus stem croquettes, intensified with mouth-watering Sindhi Masalas is a culinary marriage made in heaven. Sipping on the Rose Sharbat that has a mesmerizing freshness to it, the nuanced Dal Pakwan went perfectly with the drink and was party to our mouths. On the menu, is also an interesting vegetarian Sindhi Thali. The appetizing Sai Bhaji that is served with Bhuga Chawal, Boondi Raita and Masala Aloo go as highly-recommended selections.

For dessert, the Sev Burfi and Sindhi Kulfi Falooda Rabdi leave us in dessert coma, hitting the sweet spot. Noshing on the aromatic delicacies that are prepared to the tee, a meal here ticks all the right boxes. It leaves us raving over the ‘Ahuja’ culinary craft and the gastronomic mastery that is Sindhful. Sure to serve you a spate of reasons to be back soon. The sin from the Sindh!
