For a good 5 years, French furniture brand Roche Bobois and fellow countryman fashion designer Jean Paul Gaultier have been through a creative expedition and it is out of that trendy partnership that the Mah Jong sofa set, among others, was created. This time, the collaboration birthed a set of cushions for which the fabric was none other than Gaultier’s influence. The fabric prints portray the designer’s quirky creative style while the cushions themselves speak of the high quality craftsmanship of the furniture designer. The six different cushions have their own unique style – from brick like patterns, to a silvery Eiffel tower, to ornate designs – to match the styles of their potential buyers. The cushions are available in two standard sizes, one rectangular shaped and one square.
This highly fashionable duo has been working together since 2010; the connection bringing to life some of the most imaginative collections, which are distinctive and witty ranges of furniture, accessories and fabrics. The brands both reflect the strong relationship between fashion and interior design.
