Skagen Denmark launches its jewellery and watch line in India

What happens when you mix a little danish in a lot of desi? Something sparkling (pun intended)!  Skagen Denmark, a brand founded in 1989 that creates watches, wearables, jewelry, and leather goods all based on the Danish coastal town from which they borrowed not just a name, but a warm spirit and minimalist mindset. Their work personifies this ideology with energy and work that displays a modern, fashionable and in the moment approach. Skagen Denmark has now announced the launch of its Jewelry in India. A nation that is so used to the elaborateness of attire and jewelry needs a breather of sorts and Skagen has the experience and expertise to give us just what we are lacking. Skagen jewelry features purposeful designs that are reflective and inspired by elemental delights brought around with the onset of seasons and nature. Making minimalistic beautiful is Skagen’s jewelry line that offers it all, from delicate rings to earrings to necklaces and bracelets. These collections retail for INR 1,995 – INR 7,795. The pieces are seen in various combinations of materials like metal, pearl,  steel mesh, beads, glass in multiple plating and color combinations. The amazement doesn’t end with just jewelry; the Skagen Holiday 2019 collection that includes a motley of terrific timepieces was also launched. The watch collections like Aaren Kulor, Nothern Lights, Signatur field enthralled guests and luckily for us, the watch collections will be available in select department stores globally & other partner channels across India.

Amping this launch for Skagen’s exclusive jewelry and watch collection, the exclusive experience was hosted by none other than the Honorable Ambassador of Denmark to India, Mr. Freddy Svane. The enjoyable event saw guests witnessing origami artists create the Danish star thus welcoming the beginning of the holiday season. Yummy treats were a part of the evening as dessert station for customizing native desserts into a personalized pudding was enjoyed. Culinary delights continued with the fine spread of Denmark’s signature dishes with a continental twist. India’s ace designers too graced the event; some well-known names that were part of this wonderful danish evening were designers like Nimish Shah, Ruchika Sachdeva, Simran Aarya, Sheena Uppal & Suket Dhir.
