Taj Hotels Palaces Resorts Safaris boasts of offering global cuisine for over a century, brings to India two renowned Michelin star chefs, Chef Sriram Aylur and Chef Srijith Gopinathan. For the first time, both these chefs will combine their knowledge and passion for making exotic dishes and recreate the ambience of dining at their world famous restaurants for a few lucky guests.
Chef Sriram is the master chef at Taj 51 Buckingham Gate Suites and Residences London and Chef Srijith flies down all the way from Taj Campton Place, San Francisco.
Chef Sriram creates gourmet experiences that translate into his menu at the London Taj. He is known to take traditional Indian recipes and blends them with progressive cooking techniques to create exotic and interesting dishes that leave his patrons asking for more.
Chef Srijith on the other hand is known for for his refined version of Californian-Indian cuisine at Campton Place in San Francisco. He is the only Indian chef to hold the privilege of earning a Michelin Star six years in a row and then culminating in two Michelin stars.
These two extremely talented chefs have joined hands to create an exclusive gastronomical extravaganza in New Delhi and Mumbai. The guests will enjoy a four course meal accompanied by some of the finest wines at The Chambers, The Taj Mahal Palace, Mumbai on 20th, 21st, and 22nd of March and at Varq, the Taj Mahal Hotel, New Delhi on 28th, 29th and 30th of March.
The proceeds from these evenings will be donated to the Taj Public Services Welfare Trust, which offers assistance to families of martyred soldiers, provide rehabilitation and vocational training to disabled and injured veterans and improving the quality of their life.
