A Model Plane worth $30,000 Crashes On Test Flight

A man’s passion drives him mad……but this fellow’s passion has done much more harm to him! As of yet two years, two wives and £15,000 (about $30,000) is his estimated loss. For the past two years, Simon Steggall had spent all his spare time building the 16ft replica of a nuclear bomber – Vickers Valiant. This fellow from Manningtree, Essex, had flown the wooden plane three times but needed the safety certificate to fly it at public shows. Steggall took the remote-controlled Vickers Valiant to his local airfield for a test run and within moments from takeoff, the mini-bomber lost power, crashed into some trees, and exploded. Alas, his dream just ended in flames.

Although he feels like he has lost a member of the family, passion rules and so Mr. Simon Steggall is not going to let this be a setback for him. And the best part is that his new girlfriend loves his hobby. Wait till she becomes Mrs.Steggall…….Simmon!
