Weddings are all about traditions and customs, and the wedding cake is a big part of the festivities. And considering the growing number of Royal Couples in the world, a tradition without opulence is no good. Not the tallest cake yet, but cake stylist Julia Pergoliti from Cupid’s Delight just managed to deliver an 11-tier, 135kg wedding cake for Perth based couple. Studded with over 10,000 Swarovski crystal’s, the cake was made with rich fruit, chocolate and marble cake, as a gift from the groom’s sister and matron of honor which was priced at a whopping $6500.
Pergoliti said, “The cake really is an important part of the wedding. It is the last thing guests are served and they get to take a piece home.”
