At this Japanese theme park you can zipline straight into a life-sized Godzilla’s mouth

Of all the things one can do for adventure, ziplining straight into a Godzilla’s mouth sounds quite like it! And giving you a chance to do that is Japan’s attraction located at Nijigen no Mori, a theme park located on an island close to Kobe.

Already home to several other attractions, Nijigen no Mori debuted the “Godzilla Interception Operation Awaji” on October 10. To begin with, visitors gather on the opposing side of the giant statue. Once hooked to the zipline, they ride straight into the gigantic 120-meter lizard king’s mouth which is highlighted by blue lights. The structure is further brought to life by smoke machines all around.

Apart from ziplining into the kaiju’s mouth, visitors can also enjoy a shooting arcade experience, stroll inside a permanent Godzilla museum, and relish a number of themed snacks and delicacies at a café inside the park. Entry tickets to the novel attraction cost approximately $7 USD for children under the age of 7, around $20 USD for children under the age of 11, and $35 USD for adults.

If you’re an adventure junkie, don’t forget to visit Japan’s Nijigen no Mori for an exciting rendezvous with Godzilla!
