Australian couple stranded on quarantined coronavirus cruise ship get their wine order delivered by a drone

Coronavirus or not, it’s important to make merry. Or at least that’s what this Australian couple believes in. Despite being stranded on a quarantined cruise ship due to the deadly virus, the duo recently kept the party going by ordering a bottle of wine that was stylishly delivered to them by a drone! Yes, that’s right!

Unlike most others who are staying put in fear of the Coronavirus, Jan and Dave Binskin from Queensland decided to drown their sorrows (and boredom away) by clinking their glasses to glory. They have been stranded on the Diamond Princess ship off the coast of Tokyo for the past week and are documenting their chronicles on social media ever since.

To kill time, the pair reached out to Naked Wine Company, which delivered two bottles of Pinot Noir to their cabin door by drone. Delighted by the service, the Binskin’s posted on Facebook saying – “Naked Wine Club you’re incredible. Just got the first drop,” They further added – “Thank God for drones, the Japanese Coast Guard did not know what the fu– was going on.” The Aussie couple also posted an image of Dave lounging on the bed donning a mask and holding a glass of the wine to go with the post. Well, all is clearly not lost for the Binskins bo’!
