Baccarat’s Harcourt glasses get a black makeover by Philippe Starck for 170th anniversary

As Baccaratturns 170-years old, they have decided to celebrate the milestone with a twist in their own tale. And for it they have entrusted the makeover in the experienced hands of Philippe Starck, which French the luxury crystalware brand Baccarat terms as a “sparkling, surreal cocktail.” Devised over a chess game with his painter daughter Ara, Starck has come up with a set of stunning clear and black Harcourt glasses representing chess pieces. Limited to 170 pieces, each set will feature six clear and black flutes priced at €3,000 ($4,100) per set. Absolutely stunning to look at. You would want to miss these beauties!
