If you’re an MJ fan and cannot have enough of collectible toys, here’s what you need to get your hands on! We’re talking about the all-new ‘Bearbrick’ by renowned Japanese toy manufacturer – MediCom Toy Incorporated that revives Michael Jackson’s classic “Thriller” music video to the tee. Yes, that’s right!
Taking inspiration from Jackson’s transformation into a werewolf in the musical, the new Bearbrick comes emblazoned with his varsity outfit and dons the same jacket and blue jeans. The exclusive toy set consists of 2 painted, articulated, non-scale plastic figures: A 100% sized version measuring 70 mm and a 400% sized one measuring 280 mm. A larger – 1000% variant is also available on MediCom Toy’s online store, with prices for all three ranging between $110 and $445.
A variation of MediCom’s Kubrick design, a ‘Bearbrick’ essentially is a cartoon-style representation of a bear. It features nine parts or tools: head, torso, hips, arms, hands, and legs that allow for eight points of articulation in total. The latest ‘Bearbrick’ is particularly special as it pays a tribute to the Michael Jackson classic that broke down racial barriers for black artists back in the day and went on to become the best-selling album of all-time by the end of 1983.
If you’re an MJ fan, you don’t want to miss out on this one!
