Bulgari is the official jewelry partner for the Tribeca Film festival that is currently running at New York until the 29th of the month. And to kick-start its exclusive three-year association with the coveted film festival, the brand is all set to premier two exclusive films, each inspired by ‘Female Resilience’. The marquee has enlisted filmmakers Nina Meredith and Bella Monticelli to create the two films, both of which are now showing successfully at the Tribeca.
The first film called “Conducting a Revolution” is the story of a conductor and pianist Speranza Scappucci, as she returns to Rome to conduct the Bellini opera at the Teatro dell’Opera di Roma, while the second called “The Litas” shows three women from different walks of life, all part of a global network of female motorcyclists. As per Bulgari CEO Jean-Christophe Babin, “Bulgari is a brand that celebrates and caters to strong independent women who blaze their own paths. Therefore, it was only natural to highlight stories of extraordinary women doing exactly that. We wanted to tell stories that would not only deliver a strong and powerful message, but also resonate globally. Although these stories shine a light on Italian women, we hope these stories serve as inspiration for women everywhere to define their own paths and inspire others to do the same, sometimes going against the grain.”
As remarked by Babin, both films extremely inspiring and are a perfect ode to what feminism is today’s time should mean. They will be screened via privately, followed by a grand cocktail reception at the Tribeca festival.
