Dior is now offering online dance tutorials in partnership with professional Parisian dancers

If the lockdown has got you bored and bogged down, now is the time to shake it off with a little dance! In relieving the intensifying quarantine blues for connoisseurs, luxury label Dior has announced exclusive dance classes that can be attended from the comforts of one’s home! Yes, that’s right!

In making this happen, the marquee joined hands with several talented dancers from Paris with an aim to “awaken the senses lulled by lockdown”. Those interested can attend the online sessions which will be conducted by Germain Louvet, star dancer of the ballet of the Opéra national de Paris, Sébastien Bertaud, of the Opéra national de Paris – in duet with the star dancer Friedemann Vogel -, and by Eleonora Abbagnato, star of the Paris Opera Ballet and director of the Teatro dell’ Opera di Roma ballet.

Commenting on the initiative, a Dior spokesperson said: “This slice of escapism provides a compelling taste of the hypnotic discipline treasured by Monsieur Dior – who also notably costumed the Roland Petit ballet, ‘Treize Danses’,” He further added, “Take advantage of this opportunity to learn how to feel and respond to the music, how to improvise, and how to perfect some key positions.”
