Well, this instrument comes close to the expected results and is a limited edition masterpiece hailing from the renowned guitar-maker. The Limited Edition Zakk Wylde Moderne of Doom guitar is based on factory design sketches hailing from 1958. The guitar is swathed in a Zakk-certified black pinstripe top graphic and comes with a body constructed from a solid Grade-A mahogany with Grade-A maple top. With two active humbuckers including an EMG85 in the neck position and an EMG81 in the bridge, this guitar is built for shreds and pal-muted power-chords.
Each humbucker pickup comes with an independent volume control. To add to the guitar’s versitality, Gibson have also added a Floyd Rose vibrato, enabling string bending leads and wailing solos. All the hardware on this guitar, including the pickup covers, tuners and knobs are covered in black. The Grade-A Richlite fingerboard sports 22 jumbo frets and decorative Custom-style block inlays. Only 250 of these beautiful guitars will be produced and Zakk Wylde fans are bound to rush frantically to dealers to pick one up. Each guitar comes nestled in a plush-lined hardshell case with black exterior. The Limited Edition Zakk Wylde Moderne of Doom guitar comes with a price tag of $2,082.
